    Leslie (Gina & Jann) -- thank you for texting me back! Things sound "better than expected"!! I believe Ed has a strong will to live and will continue to fight. So many of us are thinking about all of you and praying!

    Our prayers are indeed with you buddy and all your family. I pray that the lord will put his comforting hand on you and soothe your heart and physical needs. To you girls and Shirley (a girl too) may the Lord sustain you with his love.

    We are certainly feeling wonderful that our prayers were answered for Ed. I prayed for him every day. I included Shirley in those prayers because I knew how heartsick she would be feeling. She and Ed did everything together so just having him in the hospital must have been very hard on her. Having him in critical condition would be unbearable.
    Thank all of you for keeping us posted, especially Leslie for establishing this method of doing so. Now, everyone get some much needed rest. I will keep praying.
    Could you please send us the hospital address so we can send a card or letter to Ed? We love you all.
